Who We Are?

Our Mission

To love our city with Christ, one person, one family, and one community at a time.

Our VIsion

Connect to God

Connect to God by creating an atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come together to worship Christ passionately and aggressively; where the Holy Spirit is being honored and welcomed. As we connect first with God, He makes it possible for us to build meaningful relationships with other believers. they, in turn, help us connect to the church family. These interconnected relationships enable us to welcome people who have no personal relationship with God.

Grow with God

As we Connect, we Grow with Him. We want the believers to grow in their spiritual maturity and personal relationship with Jesus. God’s ultimate goal for a believer’s life on earth is character development. God wants the believers to grow spiritually, to become like Christ and to be aware that the Holy Spirit lives in them. We also believe that mentoring, discipleship, life groups, and fellowship with other believers are all ways in which God brings transformation in our lives and helps us to fulfill the destiny He has for all of us.

Serve with God

As we continually Connect, and Grow with Him. The result of this life-giving relationship will be a desire to serve and bless others! This will result in the expansion of God’s kingdom by bringing heaven on earth, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and praying for and serving those who are still far from God, waiting for someone to serve them through sharing the Love of Jesus.

Statement of Faith

1. THE SCRIPTURES IS INSPIRED
We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (John 16:12,13, ; Matthew 5:18, 2 Tim. 3:15, 17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).

2. THE ONE TRUE GOD
We believe in the one true God eternally existing in Three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM,” and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, by simultaneously existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isa. 43:10, 11; Matt. 28:19).

3. ETERNAL SON OF GOD BECAME MAN
We believe that the eternal Son of God became man. (John 1:1,2,14; Luke 1:35, Romans 3:24-25; I Peter 1:3-5, Hebrews 7:25; 9:24, Acts 1:9, Romans 8:34; I John 2:1,2).

4. MAN: HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION
We Believe Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let us make man in our image and after our likeness.” Man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:17; Ro. 5:12-21).

5. THE SALVATION OF MAN
Conditions of Salvation: The Grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by grace, has become heir of God according to the hope of
eternal life (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Ro. 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).

Evidences of Salvation: The inward evidence to the believer of his/her salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Ro. 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of holiness (1 Thess. 4:7, 2 Tim.1:9).

6. BAPTISM IN WATER
We believe in the ordinance of baptism by burial with Christ should be observed (as commanded in the Scriptures) by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed in Christ as their Savior and Lord. In doing so, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they have also been released to walk with Him in newness of life (Matt. 28:19; Ro. 6:4).

7. THE LORD’S SUPPER (COMMUNION)
We believe in The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing in a memorial to His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined to all believers “until He comes” (John 6:48,51,53-5 Luke 22:19,20; 2 Pet. 1:4; 1 Cor. 11:25).

8. THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER (HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM)
We believe that all believers should ardently expect and earnestly seek the Promise of the Father, which is the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. With it comes the infilling of power for life and service, and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31). This experience may be distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the New Birth (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9).

9. SANCTIFICATION PROCESS
We believe the sanctification process by the power of the Holy Spirit we strive to obey the command, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” Sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word (Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:15,16; 1 Thess. 5:23,24; 1 John 2:6).

10. THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION
We believe the church is the holy Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer is an integral part of the church, and their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. (I Thess. 2:4)

11. MINISTRY
We believe of Divinely called and Scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a two-fold purpose: (1) The evangelization of the world, and (2) The edification of the Body of Christ (Mark 15:16,20; Eph. 4:11-13).

12. DIVINE HEALING
We believe in divine healing and deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of all believers (Isa. 53:4, 5; Matt. 8:16, 17; Mark 16:18; John 5:14, , James 5:14-16).

13. THE BLESSED HOPE
We believe in the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the Lord, is imminent and is the blessed hope of the church (1 Thess. 4:16; Ro. 6:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor. 15:51,52).

14. THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF JESUS
We believe in the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of national Israel, and the millennial reign of Christ on the earth are Scriptural promises and our hope (Zechariah 14:5, 2 Thess. 1:7; Rev. 19:1l-16; Ro. 11:25; Rev. 20:l-7).

15. THE LAKE OF FIRE
We believe in the lake of fire, the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever is not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Matthew 25:46, Mark 9:43-49, Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).

16. THE NEW HEAVENS AND NEW EARTH
We believe in the new heavens and new earth, as promised in the Scriptures wherein righteousness dwells (2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 21:l). Dancing (Psalms 30:11);

17. WORSHIP
We believe that there are 14 biblical ways to worship God. Dancing (Psalms 30:11); Praise (Psalm 66:8, 17); Clapping of hands (Psalm 47:1); Lifting of hands (Psalm 63:4); Thanksgiving (Psalm 69:30); Joyful exuberant shouting of praise (Psalm 66:1, 2); Joyful Songs (Psalm 126); Use of musical instruments (Psalm 33:2); Kneeling (Psalm 95:6); Worship with faces on grounds, bowing down (Nehemiah 8:6); Speaking in Tongues (Acts 10:46); Quiet, reflective, meditation (Psalm 104:33-34); Laughter and Joy (Psalm 126:2; Job 8:21); Be a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1).

18. WORD OF GOD
We believe in the dynamic power of the written Word of God. Hebrews 11; Galatians 3;11; Romans 3:17, John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12-16; 10:23; James 3:3-6)

19. PROSPERITY
We believe in holistic prosperity for all (3 John 2; Psalm 35:27; Deuteronomy 8:18-19; 28:11, Psalms 84:11)

20. MARRIAGE
We believe that marriage has been ordained by God. JRM Vallejo Church defines “marriage” as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the church only to the extent that it is consistent with the definition of “marriage” found in these Articles. (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:21- 25, Hebrews 13:4, Ephesians 5:22-33)

21. HUMAN SEXUALITY
We believe that legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Hence, sexual activities outside of marriage (referred to in the New Testament as “porneia”– πορνεια) including but not limited to, adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, and pedophilia are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the Church. Further, lascivious conduct, transgender behavior, and the creation and/or distribution and/or
viewing of pornography, are incompatible with the biblical witness. (Matthew 15:19, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:27)
